Michael W. Brown, Attorney at Law
Michael W. Brown founded the firm in 1980 and has been practicing law for over 40 years, dedicating his career to helping individuals and families plan for the future with confidence and care. He is Certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law.
Mr. Brown is a long-standing member of the Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law Section of the California State Bar and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. He also served as Chairman of the Planned Giving Committee for the Los Angeles Affiliate of the American Heart Association, where he contributed his legal knowledge to support charitable giving and legacy planning initiatives.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Brown has built a reputation for his integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to client service. He has guided countless clients through the estate planning process, ensuring their legacies are preserved and their loved ones are protected.

C. Timothy Genovese, Attorney at Law
C. Timothy Genovese joined Michael W. Brown, LLP in 2021 as the Managing Partner and been practicing law since 1988. With over three decades of legal experience, he focuses primarily on Estate Planning, Probate, and Post-Death Trust Administration, helping clients protect their assets and ensure their wishes are carried out with precision and care.
Throughout his career, Mr. Genovese has built a reputation for his thorough understanding of the law and his practical, compassionate approach to client service. His previous experience in general civil litigation, landlord-tenant matters, and criminal defense has provided him with a broad legal perspective that enhances his ability to address complex estate and probate issues.
Mr. Genovese takes pride in developing long-term relationships with his clients, many of whom rely on his guidance for multiple generations of family planning. He believes in clear communication, thoughtful planning, and providing peace of mind through every stage of the legal process.
